An Idea Come to Me

An off-beat solo show, exploring disconnection and loneliness, returns this Autumn.

The story oscillates around my uncle, Tony; a retired telecommunications test engineer, who never left home, was a full-time carer to my Grandpa and to my surprise, an aspiring science-fiction writer.

One day, Tony sent me an unsolicited email titled ‘An Idea Come To Me.’ He’d had a vision for something he called Space Dominoes, and suggested I ‘carry on with it.’ So I did.

An Idea Come To Me is part epic science-fiction adventure and part direct-address storytelling. Stepping in and out of Tony’s odyssey, I make discover similarities between us and a deep-rooted fear emerges.
